After having her life turned upside down and her heart broken countless times, Lakea Johnson awakes from a coma and tries to begin picking up the pieces of her shattered world without her true love. Now a young woman, Lakea is still badly broken from the struggles of growing up in the violent streets of Memphis and she begins a downward spiral of drugs, violence, stripping, and volatile relationships. Soon Lakea realizes that her journey will be a long road paved in her blood and tears as she endures all the pain the world throws at her. Depression envelopes her and she feels all hope is gone until she finds light in the darkness; refuge from her pain. She finally starts to feel complete.... but will her happiness last?
