Los Tejanos is, in part, a novel that draws heavily from the personal experience of both Juan Garcia, a gifted and talented writer and Rudy R. Treviño, an individual with a deep understanding of Tejano art and music. This novel is a love story as it relates to Frankie Ramos and Cindy Moreno. The story weaves a rich tapestry of our Tejano experiences. It draws heavily from our culture through music, deep beliefs in religion, politics, superstition, emotions, faith, achievements through hard work, experience, and the true beauty of love, pain, and friendship.
