This is a book about whitewater camping and camping on Maine's Rivers, as well as one trip on the Rio Grande in Texas. I have canoed on the Allagash, St. John twice, East Penobscot four times, the Moose three times, the Sebois, Machias, and on the St. Croix 15 times, including five solo trips. This book has practical canoeing and whitewater tips, many personal stories, lessons learned from my river experience and how to apply them to daily life, how to create a great trip, camping tips and how to really enjoy nature on the river.
