U.S. Border Patrol Strategic Plan

Immigration reform is always on the table in Congress. The 2012-2016 Strategic Plan builds on the foundation of the 2004 Strategy, which guided the acquisition and deployment of significant additional resources under its new parent organization, the Department of Homeland Security. As immigration reform develops, this strategy assures that the Border patrol meet its new, post-9/11 mission.
