Flannel John's Astoria Cookbook is a collection of recipes that celebrate the lifestyles, cultures and history of Astoria Oregon. From Lewis & Clark's Corps of Discovery to the filming of The Goonies, Astoria has a lot packed in to its 200+ years. These recipes are inspired by and honor the fisherman, crabbers, loggers, Finnish immigrants, trappers, hunters, film-makers, brewers, river pilots, cannery workers, Clatsop Indians, dock workers and Coast Guard that helped build the town.
