Jumping Jack Flash

Jack was a lonely orphaned pony and longed for a family he could call his own. He found himself thrust into the dangerous world of horse racing where animals are moved around, traded and sold, like inanimate objects with no feelings or soul...this is the story of his odyssey. This story is based upon the life of the real Jumping Jack Flash, a horse who lived in Half Moon Bay, California. Jack was an ex-racehorse related to the famous racer, Secretariat. This story traces his lifetime journey from place to place and owner to owner, as he seeks a barn he can call home and people he can call family. All the proceeds from this book are donated to Save the Horses, a non-profit organization dedicated to rescuing abused, abandoned, and neglected horses since 1998.
