My Inventions: The Autobiography of Nikola Tesla

Nikola Tesla's My Inventions is the remarkable autobiographical account of one of the most original inventors in modern science and technology. In these vivid personal essays, Tesla recalls his childhood, education, mental habits, experiments, discoveries, and the development of the electrical ideas that helped transform the modern world. Written with unusual directness, the book reveals not only Tesla's technical imagination but also the intensity, discipline, eccentricity, and visionary confidence that shaped his career.

Tesla writes about invention as both scientific labour and inner experience, describing the workings of memory, visualization, intuition, mechanical design, and experimental thought. His reflections on alternating current, electrical engineering, wireless power, motors, energy transmission, and the future of technology make the book an essential primary source for readers interested in invention, engineering history, scientific autobiography, electricity, industrial progress, and the lives of great innovators.
