Touch of a Navy SEAL: A military romance novella

She vowed never to open herself to love again. Can a Navy SEAL reach her guarded heart?

Sarah Briggs lost her fiancé Danny in Afghanistan. She withdraws from friends and family in grief until her uncle, an admiral, convinces her to get back into circulation again. Taking a civilian job at her uncle's naval base, she unexpectedly runs into Matthew Brody, a Navy SEAL.

Despite her resolve to avoid romantic entanglements, Sarah finds herself irresistibly drawn to Matthew's strength and warmth. Yet, the fear of losing another loved one to the dangers of military life holds her back. Matthew, having faced his own battles and losses, recognizes her conflict as she pushes him away. Yet, they find themselves drawn together again and again...

...until a dangerous mission nearly results in the loss of life for a fellow SEAL, a friend of them both. Sarah cannot help but think that this will be her fate again if she has a relationship with Matthew, and cannot bear the thought.

Will their love be enough to heal their wounds and give them the courage to survive the shadows of the past and the uncertainties of the future?
