Sunday Dinner at Silly Yaya's dinner table is where families share stories about their week, tell bad jokes, share upcoming events, and solve problems. Everyone is talking at the same time; it's loud and full of love. Best of all, the food is always great!
With today's hectic schedules, families are not always able to eat dinner together. Sunday Dinner at Silly Yaya's encourages families to gather together for dinner at least once a week. "Everyone is so busy with soccer and dance, Sundays are the only time we have a chance." Do you remember Sunday Dinners at your grandparents? What was your favorite meal; your favorite dessert?
Join Silly Yaya's fun loving Greek/Italian blended family at the dinner table and discover their traditions and silly ways.
FROM THE AUTHOR:
We gather our immediate and distant family and friends every Sunday to eat. It's not unusual for friends of my children and grandchildren to join us for dinner as well. All are welcome at my dinner table! I post the meal on a chalkboard and share it on social media for all to see. Everyone always wants to know what we are having for dessert! My goal when I wrote Sunday Dinner at Silly Yaya's was to encourage all families to start their own tradition of Sunday Dinner, just like their grandparents did. There is even a kid friendly recipe on the last page for my grandfather's Greek Salad Dressing from his beloved island of Lesvos, Greece.
"Great book about good old fashioned family traditions. Sunday Dinner at Silly Yaya's is a great book about family tradition and looking forward to bringing together your family over a weekly meal. Love this book!!!"-5 Star Review -from Lori
