Gary Rea's approach to street photography is all about shadow and light and how they interplay with the urban environment and the people within that environment. The images presented here are a sampling of some of Rea's work from 2015, including a sampling of a few of his series projects, each of which has been produced at particular locations in downtown Seattle. Rea describes his development as a photographer, from his beginnings as a photo lab technician in the U.S. Air Force during the Vietnam era to his latest work as a street photographer on the streets of downtown Seattle. He also explains in detail his approach to street photography and his views on what street photography is and what it is not. 8.5"x11", 28 pages, 39 black and white photos
