Guitar Fun Book 1

This book is the first in a series of books designed to get 5 year old's and onwards playing guitar quickly and having fun doing it!

A series of fun pieces have been originally composed for new guitarists to play along with. Characters have also been created which fit with each piece and are shown alongside the TAB to further engage the learner. It is our hope that this style of learning will create a fun atmosphere when learning and will also break away from standard beginner guitar pieces.

Tablature (TAB) has been used to read from making the learning process faster.

Areas of focus are:

Navigating the guitar (Parts, Strings & Frets)

Note lengths (Semibreve, Minim, Crotchet, Quaver)

Rhythm (Some very simple rhythms)

Rests (Simple rest placing)

Ensemble skills (Playing intime with the backing tracks)
