Enjoy its offerings! In this book, the reader joins the author's year long journey to see, photograph, and reflect upon a local mountain and its surroundings. The author spends a year finding a difference in the everyday sameness, and a sameness in everyday differences. Her musings about many of the views provoke deeper thoughts about our place in the world and the meaning and significance of nature. The book urges us to find our own photos, our own beauty, and combine that with our own musings. This is a provocative book that you will thumb through, open randomly, and return to many times as you contemplate what is the metaphor and how does it reflect our meaning in the world.
