Finding The Zing

8 year old Joey lives in Ohio with his dad who is a paleontologist. Joey tells his friends that his dad is a dinosaur hunter! Sadly, Joey's mom died when he was just 5 years old. Since that time Joey's dad Mark has been a full time dad who often takes Joey with him to the dinosaur dig site when he is on summer break from school. Joey feels lonely and keeps asking his dad if he can have a dog. His dad says because they have to frequently travel for his work that its not the right time to add a dog to the family. Joey used his allowance to buy a box of puppy biscuits, a collar and leash that he keeps in his backpack. He hopes that one day soon his dad will change his mind. Everything changes for Joey when he goes with his dad on a new expedition!
