Searching for Treasure: The Journey of Two Sisters

Butterfly Syd and Hoot Poot are two young girls who are enjoying life while searching for a way to share their joy. The girls are of the belief that magical treasure exists which will unlock the secrets of happiness. They are determined to find this hidden treasure. They search high and low, near and far before finding what they believe are the "real" joys of life. The book uses laughter, and true-life events to tell a story of sisterhood. Join Syd and Hoot Poot on their journey and allow yourself to be amazed at what young children can teach us. With or without us, children are constantly navigating their way through life, trying to unfold its purpose. Author Gregory Ford wrote this book after observing the power of his children to use their imagination and drive to make the world a better place. Gregory is a social worker and a track coach who believes that children's minds should be nurtured and cultivated through travel, community service and self-esteem building activities. Placing children in a position to succeed, to love and to be loved is one of society's greatest obligations.
