Simply the Best Church and Non-Profit Fundraising Idea in existence today because it's all about getting your members to enjoy their favorite sports activities while supporting your organization at the same time. http: //www.NFLAffiliates for more. This is a first for me. As a pastor of a lively Church - I'm writing about a New Kind of fundraising that can greatly benefit my Church (or yours) and any non-profit that you may have in the highest amount in return for the least amount of efforts because everyone loves sports, but never before have we had an opportunity to raise funds for our organizations based on the love that sadly our members have for this activity in far greater proportion than they love us. I do not plan to spend any money on Fundraising this year, nor will I have to ever spend any more time worrying and fretting about having enough money for our favorite Church projects. It's all about Sports. The NFL Football games are first along with world class Soccer and then they will release the Sports APP - I'm calling "You Make The Call" - all of the other major sports including Major League Baseball, NBA Basketball, Golf, Hockey, Tennis, Bowling, NASCAR, Formula One, basically every major sport. My members will download this app for FREE from the Church website and we will be reminding them by emails every week at first and build enthusiasm for the upcoming games. Then, our membership will watch their favorite games through our APP instead of on the Major TV Networks. They will be gradually switching their Sports experience to our APP because it will be a far more exciting and rewarding experience because just prior to and during the game members will be asked to MAKE THE CALL - actually predict what is going to happen or what the team should do next. When they get it right - they win cash and prizes. In return for doing Sports this way, the membership will be watching ADVERTISING just like they would otherwise, but the difference is that about 40% of the Advertising dollars from our members and even from their friends, will flow to our Church instead of the TV Networks. Everyone in my membership loves Sports. When we are not talking about the Church's mission we are talking about our local teams. It's a social connection that we all love since we are kids. So, it's the best way to raise funds that there is. There is no sacrifice made and yet our organization is supported like never before. We don't even have to nag every week, AND the income becomes larger and larger because our members are inviting their friends to play along with them on Game Day and we get paid for these generations on a similar percentage. It's amazing and I encourage any Church or non-profit to become an Affiliate and get your members to download the FREE APP with YOUR Organization's code so that you gain the greatest benefits you have ever dreamed about or I will give you Double Your Money Back on the purchase of this book. Compare this method of fundraising to whatever you are doing now. Most likely, if you are like my Church, you are finding that your members have less and less to give each year. Yet somehow they find enough money and time to spend watching all the sports that there is on TV. I have some members who never turn it off. It's always in their lives while many of the goals I'm trying to accomplish for them and my parish are practically all but ignored. Basketball Apps, Soccer Apps, Golf Apps, Tennis Apps, Hockey Apps, Racing Apps are all available on the web today and are downloaded by the millions. But never before has there been an app that is a New Way to Play Sports and Support one's favorite charity at the same time. THIS IS IT - Join Today - Created by the guys who created EA Sports and MADDEN FOOTBALL - just to name a few.

Economics of Philanthropy: Donations and Fundraising
Experts bring economic tools to bear on philanthropic activities, addressing topics that range from the determinants of giving to the effectiveness of fundraising techniques.
Economists are increasingly aware of the need to better understand philanthropic activities. In this book, economists address a variety of topics related to the economics of philanthropy, ranging from the determinants of giving to the effectiveness of fundraising techniques. The contributions focus on individual motives for giving and volunteering, and in particular how they affect donation outcomes, fundraising decisions, and public policies toward giving.

Previous research has viewed motives for giving as embedded in formal models of economic behavior with rational agents who maximize their own utility while constrained by a budget. These models, however, have been shown to have poor predictive power, neglecting direct and indirect motives for giving. The contributors consider, among other subjects, the free-riding problem in these models; altruistic, direct, and indirect motives for giving, addressed both theoretically and with lab experiments; the linear public good game; the role of social information; the effectiveness of matching gifts and premiums; motives for unpaid volunteering; subscription models as a way to regulate revenue streams; and increasing reliance on public funds.

Contributors
James Andreoni, Jon Behar, Avner Ben-Ner, Ted Bergstrom, Greg Bose, Sarah Brown, Catherine C.
