Can art inspire me to think critically about...? is a book created by artist Roz Crews, featuring work by First-Year Experience Freshman Inquiry students from Portland State's Learning and Living Communities along with essays by the first ever winners of the Distinguished Socially-Engaged Art(ist) Educators of the Region (DSEAER) Award. This project can be viewed as a public archive cataloging the collective inquiry process that emerged from a series of workshops at the Portland Art Museum which aimed to explore how art can be used as primary source documents for learning about non-art disciplines.
