Cellar In Naples

Even when she was just a child, Sara always knew that she was different from the other children around her. Gifted with the ability to see people and things that couldn't possibly be real, as Sarah began to grow into the woman she was supposed to become she soon realised that the fantastical - and often horrible - things she could see were more than just the stuff of fairytales and dreams: they were real. Worrying that she was crazy as the sightings of ghoulish apparitions became more and more common, Sara confided in her family who revealed that she wasn't alone, but had actually inherited her mother's gift of a higher perception. A generational ability to see forces from beyond the grave, Sara is warned to treat her "gift" with care as to not be overcome by the dark forces that she is able to open up a door to. However, while her life remained as normal as it could be under the circumstances, her seemingly blissful existence is challenged when she moves to Italy with her husband, Michael. With the forces returning and her ability stronger than ever, Sara is forced to heed her mother's warning and use her ability responsibly if she wants to maintain the family that she has fought so hard to create. Author Daniel Lane spins a haunting otherworldly tale in his new thriller, A Cellar in Naples. Will Sara finally be able to control her gift like her mother before her, or will she succumb to the darkness that's knocking on her door?
