Logia Iesou: Sayings of Our Lord from an Early Greek Papyrus (Revised)

Logia Iesou: Sayings of our Lord from an Early Greek Papyrus is a book that contains a collection of sayings attributed to Jesus Christ. The book is compiled by Bernard P. Grenfell, who is a renowned scholar of ancient Greek literature. The sayings in the book are taken from an early Greek papyrus, which is believed to have been written in the late first or early second century AD. The papyrus was discovered in Egypt in the late 19th century and is considered to be one of the oldest surviving manuscripts of Christian literature. The Logia Iesou contains a total of 114 sayings, many of which are similar to those found in the Gospels of Matthew, Mark, and Luke. However, there are also some unique sayings that are not found in any other known Christian text. The book provides valuable insights into the early Christian community and the teachings of Jesus Christ. It is a must-read for anyone interested in the history of Christianity and the life and teachings of Jesus.1897.
