Bwana Babu

"Bwana Grandfather." (Swahili). The author, a sportsman of long-standing at home in the USA, discovered African big-game late in life. Comparisons with his formative experiences gave him an interest in, and a deep appreciation for, the craft of the African tracker and his vital place in the hunt. Whilst existing accounts of big game hunting describe native trackers, the pivotal role accorded them by Greenfield is fresh and new, and is this book's great point of interest.
