Satish's Kitchen: Recipes for Indian & Punjabi Home Cooking

Satish's kitchen is a cookbook of my mother's Indian food recipes that she would cook for the family as I was growing up. She wrote those for me on lose paper and I thought I lost the recipes when I moved to California in 2011. However, in 2024 when I moved to Concord, CA I found them in a book and started cooking from the recipes again. My friends loved the food I cooked for them and the idea of this cookbook was born from one of my friends suggesting it. The cookbook has various appetizers, main course dishes and typical Indian desserts. As the book is dedicated to the memory of my mother, I have some family pictures growing up also included in the book. Some of the more popular recipes that I have cooked that my friends have loved that you don't normally get in an Indian restaurant include milk chicken, yogurt chicken, chicken sweet and sour, tomato garlic pulao with paneer, malai kofta, saag and kheer.
