Gospel of Luke: A Spiritual and Pastoral Reading

Drawn from homilies, writings, and speeches since Francis became pope and arranged in order of the chapters of Luke, the words of Pope Francis invite us into the world of Jesus, forming readings that shine light on our own lives. Like the earlier volumes, The Gospel of Matthew and The Gospel of Mark, this collection invites the reader into the world of Jesus, through the Pope's pastoral reflections, to discover the hidden treasures of this Gospel. Ideal for individual reading or group study, the homilist or the pastoral minister, these pages allow the reader to be guided by Francis, a master of prayerful silence, so that we may be open to conversion through living more closely with Jesus, the Word made flesh.
