A popular LITERARY classic containing several original poems of the author, and also poems translated from Spanish and other languages.

This book contains the popular verses, "A Psalm of Life" and "Footsteps of Angels," among others. Longfellow wrote many lyric poems known for their musicality and often presenting stories of mythology and legend. He became the most popular American poet of his day and had success overseas.
