Skin Cancer Recognition and Management

Skin cancer refers to the abnormal growth of skin cells. In most cases, skin cancer develops on skin exposed to the sun. However, skin cancer can also develop on skin that is not exposed to sunlight. It is the most common type of cancer. It is categorized into three types, namely, melanoma squamous cell carcinoma, and basal cell carcinoma. Melanoma is a type of skin cancer that develops in the melanocyte cells. It has a high probability of invading surrounding tissues and can spread to other body parts.
