Relocating from south of I-10 to Missouri doesn't diminish Detective 'Cadillac' Holland's knack for stirring trouble, bending rules, and deploying an alarming amount of firepower to rectify not just one, but several injustices.

An unexpected phone call from an old military school peer, followed by a troubling visit from the peer's sister, inadvertently entangles Detective Holland in another worldwide problem: the theft of antiquities. True to form, he imposes his distinct style on every echelon of law enforcement, from a local Missouri sheriff to the FBI and beyond, all while navigating the legal gray areas and the looming threat of vengeance from his Iraqi adversary, the influential Habib family, during his search for a missing shipping container filled with cultural treasures pilfered from the Iraqi National Museum.

In a world where allegiances are scarce, and no one is truly who or where they appear to be, everyone seems to be pursuing their own interests at the detective's expense.
