Each unit includes:

• An activity page that introduces six decodable word family words
• An illustrated story that features the word family words
• Reading comprehension activities
• Writing activities
• A "slide and read" word slider with up to 10 word family words

Word Games

Three 4-in-a-row word games feature two word families each and include:

• 5 different game boards
• A caller's board
• Caller's cards
• A game cover (to put on the envelope or container where the game is stored)
