Two-Gun Witch (n) - pejorative term for the few elven women who can use magical devices with both hands, most typically, spell irons.

Spell Iron (n) - magical revolvers that hold components in their cylinders to shoot spells.

After the slaughtering of her people, Talen collected bounties on humans stained by dark magic. For years after, she lived only for a whisper of vengeance. However, a series of unlikely events led to her finding an improbable new family. Wilfred-a former slave and master crafter of magical wares, Draven-a dwarven engineer an airship pilot, and Margaret-a child of the Underground railroad, all helped to heal her tattered heart.

While searching out the origins of bounty crystals, the quartet find themselves at the doorstep of Harriet Tubman, and it seems she's been expecting them. From her, they learn of an entire town of stained, one that refuses to accept the end of slavery. Hundreds so recently freed are once more in bondage. Worse, the preacher leading this town is rumored to be enforcing this re-enslavement through detestable magical crafts. It's even said he can raise and bind the dead, depriving those poor souls of even a final peace. However slim the odds of success, they know it's a fight that needs fighting. Question is, will they be the same after learning the truth of the accursed town?
