Book of Common Prayer: and Administration of the Sacraments and other Rites and Ceremonies of the Ch

"Glory to the Father, and to the Son, and to the Holy Spirit: as

it was in the beginning, is now, and will be for ever. Amen "

-The Book of Common Prayer

The Book of Common Prayer (1549) by Thomas Cranmer is a collection of prayer books that was the first to include the complete liturgies for daily and Sunday services used in all churches that follow the Anglican tradition. This is the original edition of the book, which was published in 1549. In it, readers can find the Morning Prayer, the Evening Prayer, the Litany, and Holy Communion as well as the occasional services in full: the orders for Baptism, Confirmation, Marriage, "prayers said for the sick," and a funeral service.
