Pink Elephant

Fadhili, mapenzi, tumaini, heshima--that's Swahili for "kindness," "love," "hope" and "respect." These words influenced this book and would, I think, reflect what it means to be involved with elephant conservation. This book is dedicated to those people working tirelessly in the endeavor to stave off the extinction of these gentle giants, particularly the African elephant. A portion of the proceeds of this book will be donated to Save the Elephants charity, a nonprofit organization that has been working since 1993 to keep these animals alive and hopefully thrive again on this planet.
