Cost of Redemption

Two hired guns (one human, one elf) ride into town on what pass for horses but aren't. They have come to solve a spate of disappearances, but a bad situation soon gets worse. Along the way they're going to meet a rock troll who works as a bouncer in the Five Aces saloon, an oilman with a short temper, and an English professor looking for dinosaurs. They soon discover that things believed long extinct could spell disaster, but worse than the creatures themselves is the force that's driving them.
