Second Legacy

Kirkus Reviews hails Joanna Trollope as "a master ..." In A Second Legacy, Trollope follows two generations of remarkable women. Deserted by her husband, Alexia Langly and her infant daughter move to her crumbling ancestral home in Scotland. Carving out a new life for herself, the young woman will find the strength to realize a dream. Two decades later, her daughter sets out to complete the legacy. A dual narration captures both women's spirits.
