in Lord, in you, I have my legs states

I thought I was a bird without legs;

To maintain my life, the only thing I could do was to fly;

But there were times I felt tired;

To persist,

I could only expect more beautiful scenes on the road ahead.

I thought I was a boat without paddles;

All my voyages were in vain;

Where I drifted,

I would go;

Perhaps what I gleaned in my straying,

Could touch my heart more deeply.
