This book is designed to help the student master an understanding of the concepts that are tested in the Math sections of the SAT examination. It is not a textbook. Rather, it is an ideal study aid that will bring great benefit to the student who uses it properly. The subtopics discussed include the following: functions and graphs; solving linear, quadratic, higher order equations, and systems of equations; complex numbers; factoring and simplifying algebraic expressions; sequences and series; probability and statistics; geometry and trigonometry. Each chapter in the book addresses a specific topic. Worked examples are provided, and various strategies are discussed on how best to solve a specific problem. The end of chapter exercises are there for the student to practice on. The student who already has a firm foundation in the required topics can go directly to the end of chapter problems, and the practice tests. Others who do not have a strong background in Math is encouraged to go through the whole book, and practice on every problem set in order to gain confidence, and be ready for the examination. The book culminates with three practice exams that test the student's preparedness for taking the Math sections of the SAT examination. All problems within the book come with an answer key.
