Mindful Haiku - Micropoetry, Shinrin-Yoku And Mindfulness In Nature, is a collection of Haiku with associated photographs, to celebrate the power of nature and to show how nature can help us make our way through life. I will aim to help you find meaning, awareness, insight, purpose, and connection through nature via techniques such as mindfulness and Shinrin-Yoku (Forest Bathing).

When we are out in nature, we sometimes forget to slow down and really take notice - to focus on the details, to use all of our senses and be present in the moment. We can use mindfulness to help us pay attention, without judgment and appreciate as all the wonders unfold before us.

We can also use mindfulness in nature and forest bathing to reduce mental fatigue. Our brains can reset itself from the everyday directed mental attention that causes us to be distracted and mentally flighty.

Hopefully, this little book can help you discover or indeed rediscover nature in a different and more mindful way - and more importantly discover your own true nature.
