A study of the effect of Cubism on Stravinsky's compositional style. "The unescapable observation from such a multiple conjunction of personalities is that specific values, verifiably and properly referred to as Cubist, had been identified in art and literature, attributed to Le Sacre from the time of its premiere, and endorsed in such variable and numerous quarters in 1914 as to constitute a vogue...It seems clear that Stravinsky was aware of and responded to the Cubist vision in the period around 1912-1914."
