Scripting Christmas (Volume 2) is a collection of three dramatic Christmas presentations appropriate for banquets or gatherings at Christmastime. Although originally written as casting primarily females, most can be easily adjusted to include male parts. Where Is He? - 8 parts (most can be male or female), 12 minutes longThis drama uses light-hearted scenes to illustrate how difficult it is at times to find the real reason for the Christmas season - the birth of Jesus. Narrations between the scenes performed in a spoken-word style bring to remembrance what the season is all about.I Believe - 3 plus parts (male or female), 12 minutes longThis script consists of several short or one-word statements that reaffirm our belief that God is our Creator, Savior, Healer, and Redeemer, and remind us that He knows us and loves us immensely. It was originally written to make a spoken-word style video, but could also be presented live or as a reader's theater. Parts can be split between just a few or several people making it very flexible for any use.Take Me to the King - 4 parts (1 young male, 1 female, 1 reader, and 1 acapella singer), 13 minutes long The words of the song, "The Little Drummer Boy" are used to portray both the story of the song and the story of a modern-day woman who is contemplating what she has to offer to the King. As the woman watches the little drummer boy eagerly give all he has to the King, she is convinced to do the same.
