Dominican Sports Stars: Vladimir Guerrero

The Dominican Republic has four Olympic gold medals, one of the best volleyball teams in the world and five players in the Base- ball Hall of Fame. The Dominican Sports Stars collection will include the stories of the following athletes: Félix Sánchez, winner of two gold medals, at the Olympic Games in Athens, 2004, and London, 2012.
Félix Díaz, gold medalist in Beijing, 2008. Marileidy Paulino, gold medalist at the Olympic Games in Paris, 2024.
"The Caribbean Queens," as we call them,
is one of the best volleyball teams in the world. And the members of the Baseball Hall of Fame: Juan Marichal (1983), Pedro Martínez (2015), Vladimir Guerrero (2018), David Ortiz (2022) and Adrian Bel- tré (2024). If their personal stories, routines and professional techniques can inspire, becoming examples for the Dominican youth, we will have achieved the objective of the Dominican Sports Stars collection.
