Equinox of Karma: The Second Carr - Maah Consulting Paranormal Romance/Mystery Adventure

The truth is buried in shadows...and so is the killer.

Celeste Carr and Ericka Maah-partners bound by loyalty but divided by belief-are forced into a nightmare neither of them can control.

When Toni Rae Yelton, a desperate party girl on the edge, takes them hostage, she demands that Ericka use her supposed supernatural abilities to stop the police and media closing in on her daughter's disappearance. Toni Rae's motives become increasingly murky-but refusing could doom the child.

As Celeste races against time-and a sinister kidnapper-to find the missing girl, her personal life implodes. The enigmatic boyfriend she was only beginning to trust vanishes without explanation. An odd dog begins shadowing Celeste's footsteps-until danger strikes. Seemingly out of thin air, a devilishly handsome stranger appears-offering protection and an attraction she can't afford to indulge.

With a killer setting deadly traps and Ericka ordering Celeste to believe in the unbelievable, Celeste is forced to choose what she's willing to risk-and who she's willing to trust.

This time, solving the mystery may require more than logic. It may demand faith...in love, in partnership, and in a truth she's spent her life denying.
