TRAVELING with GRANDMA To ITALY

Each grandchild gets to take a trip alone with their grandmother to another country. In this book they travel to Italy where they get to see the Colosseum where gladiators performed battles - even ship battles in water. They also see famous paintings and learn how Rome became a city. When they travel to Venice they get to ride in boats called gondolas and sing along with the gondoliers that paddle the boats. There's pizza to eat and buildings that lean way over. They travel to Pompeii and see how it got buried under lava from a nearby volcano. This is grandma's way to teach the children about other people and cultures and have fun at the same time. The book is loaded with photos so the reader can see the sites along with them.
