Very Little Baby: A Read-With-Your-Child Book

When expectant parents arrive at a home-style birthing center in Belfast, Maine, Baby Max is born. He is tiny. His grandparents learn through an old-fashioned telephone--it's 1986--of their first grandson's birth and name and react with excitement and love. Soon, family friends have mixed reactions, one of them worried about the baby's lack of size. However, as one of the two grandmothers predicted, he grows.
