Ammar sought fulfillment by exploring anthropology and world religions spending ten years with Sufi masters and religious scholars, studying, teaching, and subsequently serving as a cleric. Later he focused on entrepreneurship, starting and seed-investing in over thirty businesses, four of which are in YPO, a global leadership community of chief executives. As a volunteer, he is a founding member of eleven YPO chapters spanning four continents, positively impacting their communities. He holds an engineering degree and is a Harvard alumnus from "The President's Program in Leadership." After a near-death experience followed by an eleven-year deep dive into the meaning of life, today Ammar is focused on working with volunteers to spark a Purposehood movement to help people transform their lives and the world by discovering and living their existential purpose.
