Thelma: A Métis Girl Who Was Born in a Storm

A beautiful introduction to Métis culture and traditions . . .

Thelma's favorite time of day is after dinner when her family gathers around the fireplace to be together and hear her father's stories. The story she loves best is the one about the night she was born---in a fierce storm! Her father says he always knew she would grow up to be as fierce as the storm she was born in, but her mother tells her there's more to the story. Join Thelma and her Métis family and learn what that something more is!
