Cornish Spring

Three years after An Irish Winter, some of that novel's minor characters, along with a few new ones, take centre stage in Cornwall. There, a series of mysterious events on the moor changes their lives forever. Karen is having dreams for the first time in 20 years. She can also see fog that no one else seems to see. And hear a woman singing in it. But things really take a turn when she finds herself stranded on Bodmin Moor. Odell guessed a woman's name in an elevator. Now they live in a damp coach house in an underwhelming Cornish village. They've shared a bed three times. All the while, Petra keeps her shell close, and her father at arm's length. For her, the world of adults is one to decipher and be wary of. Especially if a 180 year old ghost starts whispering in your ear.
