Skipping Stones

"A flick of the wrist
and the world
in shards of coloured glass, shifts."

Magic and wisdom gestate in the moments of our quotidian lives, ripening in our memories. With humour and insight, Marie-Andrée Auclair and Adrienne Stevenson reflect on the passage of time and its endless changes, exploring shifting relationships in our restless world.

For more than a decade, these Ottawa writers shared their poems-in-progress, only to realize their work was a dialogue that must see print together. The result is the remarkable collaboration, Skipping Stones, a cycle of poems that speaks to the living truths within us all.
