Courage Of A Ukrainian Family - Reflections From an English Host

Alice White, now fully recovered from her narrowboat adventures, immersed herself in her busy psychotherapy practice, her pets and her writing from her cosy rural home.

In 'The Courage Of A Ukrainian Family Reflections From An English Host', Alice relates, with as much humour as can be mustered in a challenging situation, what happened when she took the huge decision welcome into her home a mother and her fourteen-year-old daughter who were fleeing to safety the UK from war-torn Ukraine.

Alice offers an insight into the challenges she and her guests faced, along with a candid revelation of some of her own prejudices - and a few tips for hosting thrown in if you have ever considered it yourself.
