What is juggling? For the purposes of this history, juggling is broadly defined as the manipulation of objects. So this book discusses hoop rolling, plate spinning, traditional club and ball juggling, hat juggling and lots of balancing. There are also many discussions of individual jugglers, including international visitors like Cinquevalli and American minstrels like Joseph Jalvan.
