Old Wounds

When a police detective is murdered on Citadel Hill, it heralds a seemingly unstoppable series of murders for Halifax detective, Will Henderson. He is tasked with solving the murder of a police officer, and as if that isn't hard enough, he has to contend with a clever killer and evidence that is most irregular.

Frank Murphy is convinced German spies are operating in Halifax. He turns into a spy-hunter in his spare time and ends up as the prime suspect in the murder investigation. Newspaperman Hugh Andrews returns to the city determined to help solve his friend's murder but becomes entangled with a likely killer. Ella Ramsay is Alex Wallace's newest prey due to her previous indiscretion.
