Emerald City of Oz

Dorothy is returning to Oz-but this time, the magical kingdom itself is in danger.

When financial troubles threaten Uncle Henry and Aunt Em's Kansas farm, Dorothy asks Princess Ozma to bring her family permanently to the Land of Oz. Soon they are welcomed into the wonders of the Emerald City, where Dorothy leads her aunt and uncle on a journey through some of Oz's strangest communities. Yet far beneath their peaceful world, the exiled Nome King is plotting revenge, gathering a formidable alliance of enemies and secretly tunnelling toward the heart of Oz.

As an invasion draws ever closer, Dorothy, Ozma, the Wizard, and their friends must confront a threat unlike any they have faced before. Filled with curious kingdoms, magical creatures, humour, adventure, and an ingenious struggle to protect the Emerald City, L. Frank Baum's The Emerald City of Oz is a delightful tale of friendship, courage, home, and the determination to defend a land where the impossible is part of everyday life.
