Alligators: Animals That Make a Difference! (Engaging Readers, Level Pre-1)

Alligators are big reptiles with short legs and strong tails. They live in fresh water and help keep Earth healthy by eating other animals. Alligators dig holes that can become homes for other creatures. Find out how they protect their eggs and how long they can live!

Level Pre-1 readers are aimed at children who are starting to read. Basic language, word repetition and short, simple sentences help kids read with confidence.

This project has been made possible in part by the Government of Canada.
