What is necessary to change a person is to change his awareness of himself.

Humans do not find satisfaction merely by avoiding hardships and difficulties or by maintaining the status quo. They are interested in growth and have a desire to realize their full potential.

Maslow's theory, emphasizing five levels of human needs from basic physiological needs to the highest need, self-actualization offers a clear roadmap of stages for personal growth and development that can serve as a guide for individual and social improvement. Physiological needs include the most fundamental biological requirements such as food, water, and sleep, without which survival is impossible. Once these needs are met, safety needs take precedence, encompassing the need for physical, job, and health security. Following these are social or belongingness needs, which emphasize social relationships and the feeling of belonging to social groups such as family and friends.
