Valley

A powerful and gritty collection of pain, love, violence, and transcendence told in a spellbinding and reverential new voice. Each poem taking the reader on a journey of loss and rediscovery; each a song of walking through the valley only to realize that you....are the promised house. Spirituality and culture are woven together to acknowledge and celebrate the reflection of the beauty, resilience, and divinity of the reader. What could once only be found in the divine faces and voices of Hip-Hop and Dancehall have been brought forth here: Our reflection. May this image ring true. All royalties from The Valley are donated to programs and organizations dedicated to at-risk youth across North America and Jamaica.Thank you, La Modonn
